Libby Munford reports. Flexible Packaging Europe’s (FPE) core activity is representing the European flexible packaging industry at a European level and on the international stage. FPE deals with a wide range of issues relevant to the flexible packaging industry, most notably food contact, sustainability and environmental issues. The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) is the US association of the manufacturers of flexible packaging; and material or equipment suppliers to the industry. Flexible packaging is produced from paper, plastic, film, aluminium foil, or any combination of those materials, and includes bags, pouches, labels, liners, sachets, lids, wraps, rollstock, and other flexible products.
